Congrats to the Hanlons!
When Jenna and Sean’s inquiry hit my inbox, I was instantly super excited to connect with them and hear more about their Adirondack-based love story. With a deep love of the mountains myself, I knew I could help them bring their vision to life. We had a beautiful warm summer day with *literally* one drop of rain (that is seriously all I felt), which in my book, is enough to get that “good luck” charm. Between the charming black barn and the ceremony space overlooking Whiteface, this venue was the perfect setting to start their forever. Can we also take a moment to appreciate that the bride GREW most of the flowers?? I’m so in love!
Jenna and Sean chose a place that was special to them to read their private vows. The Ausable River near Lake Placid is a place where they often go to hike trails and enjoy the serenity that the Adirondack Mountains offer. The now have a new super special memory here!
Bowie and Cash (appropriately named after David Bowie and Johnny Cash) were almost the stars of the show! They sat like the best boys for photos and even gave me some tongues-out smiles! When picking a venue, it’s super important to consider how important it is for your dogs to be a part of the day!
Just here to remind you that Jenna grew most of these flowers in her garden! Me and my wilting plants could never! I love the pops of pink and orange – it complimented her day so perfectly!
For their color palette, Jenna and Sean chose the colorful combo of burnt orange, tan, and different shades of pinks, cream, and reds. They wanted a joyful aesthetic for their wedding, and loved how unique their wedding party looked! Jenna’s ladies proved that you really can have it all when it comes to your bridesmaids dress colors (blush, terracotta, maroon, cream, etc) Sean rocked a burnt orange suit and his groomsmen looked sharp in their tan suits – and of course we can’t forget the bolo ties for a bit of a western flare.
Let me gush about this venue for a minute! Behold, the view from The Barn at Pinestone. This gorgeous modern yet rustic barn wedding venue is nestled in the Lake Placid Adirondack region (Wilmington, NY to be exact). This venue has gorgeous panoramic views of Whiteface Mountain and the surrounding ranges that offer the perfect setting for a wedding for the outdoorsy, mountain loving couple.
As guests arrived at the The Barn at Pinestone, they were greeted with the most breathtaking view of Whiteface mountain. Nestled in the Adirondack forest, wooden church pews sit in front of a barn beam arch setting the scene for the ceremony. For an August wedding, the weather couldn’t have been nicer as Jenna walked down the aisle with her father.
Again, this venue passes the vibe check. Disco balls, string lights, and a vintage camper converted bar? Jenna’s florals and other decor added so much to this already stunning reception space.
Jenna and Sean’s wedding at The Barn at Pinestone, perfectly blends colorful, bold elements with enchanting touches. Their love story, shared passions, and unique personal touches made the day unforgettable. Congratulations, Jenna and Sean, on your beautiful journey together! If you’re interested in me coming out the Adirondacks for your wedding, let’s chat!
