My favorite thing about NYC sessions is discovering all of the little nooks and crannies around every corner. When I lived in the city during college, I spent so much time wandering the West Village with my camera, and this session with Olivia and Hawk brought all of that nostalgia back. We explored their neighborhood at an easy pace, stopping at their go-to restaurant, walking the streets they know by heart, and letting the little in-between moments lead us. We ended with some cozy, at-home photos that felt warm and real. This was the kind of session that doesn’t feel like work at all, just time spent with two people who are completely wrapped up in each other. So excited to be back being the camera with them next year!
